Are headers bad for late model trucks?
I have a 1999 GMC Sierra and I would like to put some Gibson Stainless Steel headers on it, but I have heard they are bad for newer models and they will cause them to over heat. Is this true? Any ideas?
All headers do is to help the engine evacuate the exhaust faster. They are an overall performance gain with no effect to the other components. Gibson stainless headers will actually dissapate heat better. Good choice.
