Can I use automotive touch up paint on a plastic model car? I need a model/make specific blue color?
I just bought my first model car, and I don’t want to ruin it by using the wrong paint. It’s a model of a car I used to own (2000-2005 Toyota Celica), and I want to paint it the same color blue that mine was (called Spectra Blue mica). All the model paints I found online don’t show a true rendition of the color, it’s just a computer generated color. So anyway, I was wondering can I buy touch up paint from an automotive store so that it can be the right color??
A SPRAY CAN SHOULD WORK WITH OUT ANY PROBLEMS —–BUT YOU WILL NEVER GET A NICE JOB OUT OF A BRUSH ON PAINT .
